  • SCOTUS Wins One For Capitalism

    June 30, 2014 • Top Story • 6628

In a world where the government makes sport out of taking away our rights, the Supreme Court has achieved a victory for the free market.  Tragically, this high moment in American judiciary was short lived, quashed by a President who throws a tantrum when Congress doesn’t do what he wants and rules the country with a pen.  Thanks to President Pen, our immigration problems will be fixed in no time.  Of course, any changes that may occur will most likely be struck down by SCOTUS in the future.  And round, and round we’ll go, all along the road to serfdom.

  • On The Road to Serfdom, The Govt Takes Cues From The Mafia

    June 27, 2014 • Top Story • 6342

We the People are being extorted everyday by a syndicate of organized crime that goes by the name Uncle Sam.  DC has, for years, has used the same tactics of racketeering that made the Mob in America legendary.  Take the IRS and its targeting of Tea Party non-profits, for example.  Lois Lerner may not live the life a Mafia Don, but she sure plays the role, pleading the fifth and having her hard drive mysteriously destroyed.  The government’s modern day bootlegging takes manifests in things like green energy and billion dollar military contracts, the Mafiosos in DC force US to pay while their friends get rich.

  • Stopping The Bank of Crony Capitalism

    June 26, 2014 • Top Story • 6018

The  Export-Import Bank is as corrupt as the day is long, according to anyone who has ever read an IG report about the Ex-Im.  This is the Bank of Crony Capitalism and it’s wasting our money. The list of companies who have received large sums of taxpayer cash, only to find out their product is crap, is only trumped by the list of cronies connected to said companies. But the winds are changing. Newly bestowed House majority leader Kevin McCarthy is the man to do away with the Ex-Im and he’s already talking about doing so. The last House leader was pulling for the Ex-Im and look what happened to him…

  • EPA Regulations Make The Bible Look Like a Pamphlet

    June 24, 2014 • Top Story • 6784

The Supreme Court scored a minor victory for freedom yesterday by ruling that the Environmental Protection Agency doesn’t have all the power it thinks it has.  But don’t tell the President, that’s his favorite agency, at least it looks like it is on paper.  During President Obama’s tenor, the federal regulations under the umbrella of the EPA have exploded to 38 times the length of the Bible. Would you be surprised to find out some of Obama’s biggest donors come from the ‘green energy’ sector?

  • Raising the Benchmark on American Need

    June 23, 2014 • Top Story • 6773

The number of Americans receiving disability benefits continues to exceed the populations of Greece, Tunisia and Portugal, the highest number ever.  Over 11 million American are now receiving disability payments, almost the population of Cuba. Sure, many of those receiving tax dollars every month deserve to be helped through tough times, but the staggering increase in ‘disabled’ Americans needs to be addressed one way or another.  More 5.9 million people have been added to disability rosters since President Obama took office, so either there are some serious problem in this country with dangerous work conditions or fraud is running rampant.  Seeing as disability payments are a $128.9 billion annual business, which seems more likely?

  • The Redskins Ruling Is Terrifying

    June 20, 2014 • Top Story • 5758

The Redskins have lost an important battle, and it’s not just the battle to keep an offensive name.  The ruling against the Redskins trademark is a terrible example how liberal minds are destroying the free market. If Washington’s name is so bothersome, then why are they selling out the stadium, week after week? Clearly no one cares.  Sure, the name comes from a terrible slur that only a fool would keep, but that’s the American way.  This arbitrary ruling marks a scary turn in the courts, wherein current culture is dictating law. God for bid anyone ever take offense to the term Yahoo.

  • Govt. Hard Drive Shenanigans Are Hard To Believe

    June 19, 2014 • Top Story • 5714

Good news for Lois Lerner, any incriminating emails on her government issued hard drive is toast.  According to undisclosed sources within the IRS, a critical computer crash damaged Lerner’ PC, resulting in data being unrecoverable. Darrell Issa, being the good skeptic he is, subpoenaed her hard drive, but it looks like that won’t happen anytime soon.  You see, because of government best practices, those hard drives have already been destroyed.  How convenient, almost as convenient as the 18½ minute gap in the infamous Nixon tapes…
