The big buzz out of DC today is military reduction of force and the media is drinking it up.  Fools.  This is a carefully engineered political move that both sides of the aisle will use to their advantage.  The Dems will tout that they are cutting the budget, the GOP will call it an attack on veterans, but both sides will gloss over the fact that a HUGE chunk of their collective political war chests come from…military friendly contracts.
