Was it the chicken or the egg that came first? A new ‘study’ is out, linking the low wages of fast food mavens like McDonald’s and Taco Bell to the glut of people on the government dole, and on the surface, that makes sense, but in reality that’s like blaming car makers for car insurance requirements. Just because the qualifying threshold for welfare coincides with the income level for a number of people working in fast food, doesn’t mean Ronald McDonald is ripping taxpayers off. Business is booming for fast food, maybe they’re doing something right.
